Industrial Applications (non-controls)

When engineers from a marine outboard engine manufacturer came to Standex looking for a "voice coil," we gave them something to shout about. A team of engineers from the customer and Standex worked closely together to develop a custom product to energize the fuel injector. The result was and engine with the highest efficiency and cleanest operating performance of any marine engine to date. In addition to a custom design, we also supplied injection molding and over-molding of components for a ready-to-use component that withstands the rigors of this application.

Standex provides custom toroids and heavy duty transformers for a manufacturer of power transmission equipment, and then packages them with other custom electronics components into complete value-added assemblies. Selecting Standex eliminates multiple electronics component vendors, ensures the integrity of the assembly (each one passes rigorous pre-shipment testing) and greatly simplifies their supply chain management. The cost savings are substantial — and parts are ready to ship directly to the field with no further input from the OEM.
