  • Turn counts increment in 1/3 and 2/3 turns.
  • Series 304 & 511 are basically the same part except the 511 series is available in more turns (higher inductance) and is taller.
  • No core inductance is approximately .05 uH per turn.
  • Tuning ratio with 3/8" long J core ranges from 1.05 at the minimum turn count to 1.8 at the maximum turn count.

Notes - Series 304 & 511

  1. Minimum inductance is measured with the core halfway out of the coil form.

  2. Carbonyl E & J material cores are available 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" or 1/2" long. Aluminum cores are available 1/4" or 5/16" long.

  3. Series 304 and 511 windings are 32 TPI and have an O.D. of .285". Distance from the mounting surface to the first turn is .06".

  4. Coil form material is polypropylene.

  5. Series 304 & 511 may be tuned with Standex tuning wrenches 55, 95, 302 or 764.
