Magnetic Components - Low Frequency

Standex offers a full line of low frequency transformers, inductors and chokes in standard and custom designs. We have products to fit most needs in the 50/60Hz to 40Hz range. Most of these products are UL/CSA recognized or are designed to meet UL/ CSA/VDE requirements - with other agency approvals gained as needed. Our unsurpassed in-house capabilities (stamping, molding, winding and termination) mean we can tailor a standard product or start from scratch with a new design.

CM series common mode chokes are designed for common mode noise up to 30 MHz on A.C. and D.C line
Available configured vertically or horizontally, with or without a base
Inductances available to 15 MilliHenries
Current carrying capability available to 40 Amps

CSB Series

Current Transformer - PC mount

Primary and Secondary windings are PC board integrated - no need for the customer to install the primary winding separately as is usually required in toroidal designs
Low cost compact package design
Varnish impregnated to reduce audible noise
Plastic bobbin meets the UL 94 flamability requirement
Custom sizes, ratings and terminations may be engineered for your specific application

FPS Series

Class 2 energy-limiting wall plug transformer

Output voltage limited to meet the requirements for connection to Class 2 circuits as defined in the Electrical Code
Plugs into any North American standard duplex receptacle
CSA (NRTL/C) certified to C22.2 No. 223-M91 and UL 1310
Rugged, high-impact, flame retardant thermoplastic enclosure
Secondary screw terminals are hidden and protected from accidental shorting
Also available with flexible secondary line cord and jacks for special applications
The fail-safe protection designed into the transformer allows the use of lightweight, unprotected "bell" wiring in applications such as door chimes, buzzers, intercoms, security devices, thermostats, central vacuum systems, low voltage lighting control, remote control, etc.
