Standex Electronics custom RF immobilizer coils are used in automotive and other applications. Most of those shown here are configured so that the coil is placed around the ignition switch. These coils are used as the transmit and receiver antenna for the passive anti theft security system that interfaces with the transponder imbedded in the key. Standex Electronics manufactures most of the components required in the manufacture of these coils in house including molding the coil form, winding, stamping
the connector terminals, and overmolding the entire assembly.
